RESTORATION

At Restoration Church of Christ, we understand and respect the biblical principles of tithes and offerings. As stated in 2 Corinthians 9:7, "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." We believe that giving is a form of worship, a personal demonstration of our trust and faith in God's providence. It echoes the teachings from Malachi 3:10, where the Lord Almighty says, "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this... and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it." We practice giving not out of obligation, but as a response to the grace we've received through Christ. We aim to be generous and willing to share, embodying the instructions given in 1 Timothy 6:17-19, laying up treasures as a firm foundation for the coming age and taking hold of the life that is truly life. Our prayer is that our practice of giving faithfully will not only support the work of the church but will also grow us spiritually, fostering a community of generosity reflective of Christ's love.
